>>30886714It really, really doesn't. In fact it just looks plain silly when it attacks and when it moves. The idea of a quadruped that attacks by swinging a weapon is fucking stupid no matter how you slice it.
In addition, it's a really jarring change from Dewott that left me scratching my head when I saw it. No, the samurai theme doesn't make it better and the "it's a samurai riding a horse!" thing sounds even stupider.
Honestly this thing would've been a lot better if it solely used its horn to attack and had the rest of its body modified to be a bit more sturdy. I get that it's likely designed to be a fast swimmer but that clashes really badly with swinging a weapon around (and not badly with the horn).
It's a weird, poorly designed mon and it's been admitted that it's the result of a mental block when coming up with an evolution for Dewott.
