Should I even bother to play Sun and Moon? I thought Gen 5 was shit, Gen 6 was mediocre, should I even bother to play this game?

Gen 5 was good what are you talking about? You act like your some high-class critic. Gen 6 was okay, played XY but not ORAS. Gen 7 is amazing, it just lacks a post game story with the exception of the UB Mission and Battle Tree.

Definitely not. Especially with all the rumors floating around of a better version of it on the switch. The game is an unoptimized piece of casual shit. Seriously, don't listen to the Sinnohfetuses ITT, save your money.

The battle facilities in previous gens had grace periods at the starts of streaks. In Gen V, the Battle Subway's basic lines were available the moment you get to Nimbasa and early on feature NFE Pokemon because of the point of the game you're at when they're available. In contrast, the Battle Royal is available around the same point of progress and at Normal Rank features fully evolved Pokemon not in the Alola Dex, with some even going Mega. In regards to the Battle Tree, even early on in basic modes the game will start throwing teams usually unseen until late in the super modes of previous facilities at you.

there is a combination of shitposting and hype starting to fade, which is normal for a game just released

my own feeling is that I wish trainers had more pokemon to use and that it had less cutscenes. some of the new pokemon are adorable and not needing to bother with HM is a godsend

I think its fucking bizarre, the only consideration I can have is to make the AI less likely to use moves that fuck it over by giving them a limited, specialized skillset

Sumo is a combination of things that I have wanted and wondering why GF does things.
