People realized Ash-gren was really good when they slapped a specs on it instead of using it like regular Gren. Use it as a mid game cleaner to score easy kills and kill things with those hydro pumps.

Water Shuriken also turns into an at least 60 BP priority coming off a base 153 spa with specs and the increased speed means it outspeeds Tapu Koko now and can OHKO with Hydro Pump

Not at all. Magnezone has overshadowed Magneton since DP because it has better defenses and offenses, this isnt a recent occurrence. The only reason to use Magneton is it's slightly higher speed. And as >>31300124 says, both are mainly used to beat other steel types, not as fairy-killers.

it's whole style of needing a K.O shifting your opponent against giving it the kills, which making other mons taking more damage in the meantime, which makes easier job for you afterward.

why use one when you can use both, just use slowbro for the regenerator ability until you need to mega evolve it. UU doesn't really have any good megas right now so theres no reason to not give slowbro a mega stone

I personally use the mega offense set, but only mega evolve it when shit like terrakion, aero, and gyara become a problem

scald, slack off, psychic, and ice beam is really good in this meta and the set I use

scald and slack off are mandatory, and you can interchange the last two moves for various threats.

Psychic helps me deal with keldeo, terrak, gengar, and hits stuff that resists scald pretty hard

Ice beam for both thundys, aero, dragons, and tornadus

I'd say even more than ever before, which is shocking for such a small amount of viable pokemon in a generation. Here's the thing. Logically, everything is going to move down. Tapus pushed a bunch of stuff out of OU into UU, which will then push things out of UU to RU, and so on. If you put a tier between OU and UU it acts as a dam preventing shit like Latias and Necrozma from being in UU.

I really wish if they had to pull Levitate (which I still maintain was an ill-advised attempt at a buff given the terrain meta) that they'd at least have given it a different ability. So many options and they pick the one it can't effectively use, It's ridiculous. Ideally, it'd keep Levitate and then get something like Infiltrator (or Merciless if we want to be super broken) as a hidden ability.

Mega replaced normal Scizor, and the normal form isn't viable anymore because of things like Tapu Lele and Magnezone everywhere. Weavile is still okay, it's just not being used as much. Dragonite got replaced with Salamence.

Your team isn't hyper offensive enough to justify running Mega Pinsir without hazard removal.

Either:
-replace Rotom-W with Defog Latios/Tapu Fini
-replace Kartana with Rapid Spin Pheromosa (Scarf Naughty pretty much does the same thing as your Scarf Kartana)
-or use a different mega and rework the team from there

I'm using Mega garchomp with this set:

I use it as a hybrid wallbreaker which can tank some hits. It lures scizors and ferrothorns pretty often and OKHOs them with fire blast. Also Draco meteor can destroy physical walls, while he still has edgequake for physical coverage.

It's working kinda okay, but I have been told that mega garchomp is bad and I shouldn't use it.

Could you please tell me something I can use as a bulky hybrid wallbreaker? Thought of Hoopa-U, but he is really squishy in the physical side, so I'm out of ideas. Thanks a lot.

Quagsire can go, he counters Kyogre pretty well but doesn't do much else beyond encore shenanigans.

It's just strange to me. It's stats aren't all that impressive so I guess I'd just have to see it in person. Then again I was pleasantly surprised when I slapped a Qwilfish on my team, so maybe not so crazy after all.
