Just use gymhuntr and search for level 8+ gyms. Nothing else is worth it.

As Instinct went from maybe 1 gym to 6 in a week

How fucking long do scans take?

90% of gyms in my area still say scanned a few days ago, and there's the 70 second cooldown.
This seems really shitty.

Been taking scans of my city and keep track of gym ownership.
54% Valor
38% Mystic
8% Instinct
Sucks to be on Instinct, I was surprised there were any Instinct gyms, thought it was going to be a split 60/40.
Also surprising how many people in my city are Valor though online the majority seems to be Mystic.

The fact that we all still devote time, even if spoofing, to play this empty shell of a game has shown Niantic that they don't need to significantly improve the game to keep a baseline of players.

Does anyone have a custom rom here?
If so, what set up and phone do you have to make it work with pokemon go?
I want to root and put a rom on my phone but this game is the only thing holding me back currently.
If anyone's running a custom rom on the Note 4 in particular it'd be a great help to see what you did to get it running.
I've heard somethings about Rootswitch but it looks like it only supports Zenphones so I'm not sure if I want to try it on this phone without some form of direction/documentation.

I must live opposite land, none of the gyms in my town are Mystic, they're split Valor 10 and Instinct 4.

Mystic used to control all of the gyms, but a few months ago the Mystic players all gave up it seems.

I'm looking for help in overcoming my FOE. I'm lvl 34 and honestly the heartbreak is beginning to outweigh the fun in this game. I have completed my regional deck and have enough attackers/defenders that I don't really need anything.
I recently hatched a 98% eevee. I have over 500 eevee candy, but I don't think I can bring myself to evolve it. The memory of evolving my 100% eevee into jolteon w/discharge simply haunt(ers) me too much. Also a 98% squirtle got flash cannon. Only Muk has lick/dark pulse.
Doees anyone else suffer for FOE? How do you deal with it?

Dragonite is the literally the exact opposite of a good prestiger. It has the highest cp at low levels, same with HP. Best prestigers got nerfed like dewgong or were always low like cloyster starmie etc

Dragonite is still bulky with a lot of resistances, same with my 1100 Snorlax. They do good work (earlier I slapped about a 2700 Alakazam with Snorlax)

I had counted like 200 stops I could see over the summer one night. That was before Starbucks too.

It's cold out and I always dim my screen super and try to be discreet about playing so I can plow through 10 great
balls on a sing shitmon missing because I'm not looking at/can't see my phone and my timing is off. And even after taking down level 10 gyms and training a lot my ball always gets full. I can always bring my ipad in the bathroom drift a block catch pokemon so I don't have to "waste" berries and greatballs by deleting them to spin again

Niantic jew cucked me out of getting 50xp when bag is full. I haven't seen anyone complain about that update though. Now I feel compelled to make room.

I fluctuate between 6-7 stable gyms, they're level 1-3 mostly, they're just in the middle of nowhere where no one seems to play. If I go out and hunt for gyms I can get 10, but those never hold

But 400 candies? Really? My apartment has GODTIER drifting but this is taking fucking forever and it's only 1km candies.

200-250 would have been a waaaay better number, it's not like they're going to use that number on anything else anyway.

this is so wrong.
1. Parasect - bb/sb ones are probably the best Vape prestigers other than vw/sb Venusaurs. bb/xs ones are the best treeman prestigers, since they have the best bug quick move and double resistance to grass.
2. Butterfree - double grass resistance + bb/bb is great against treemen, though Buzz is too slow which means you'll be taking undodged hits with it.
3. Turdnugget/Scyther - no bug bite but they still do well against treeman on prestige. Too weak to be worth using over fire types on offense though.
4. Venomoth/Beedrill - psychic weakness makes them shit at prestiging
