Like, normal giratina is weak to 5 types, immune to 2, and resists 6.
Assuming its ability worked exactly like inverse battles do, giratina not only has 6 weaknesses now, it has 8, as its fighting and normal immunities also revert. 8 weaknesses and 5 resistances sounds more like hindering the guy than helping it at all.
The only way this is good for giratina is if it applies to everything in the field but itself: now its ghost STAB is resisted by ghost and psychic but everything else is either weak or neutral, and dragon STAB hits everything but other dragons for neutral or super effective. Giratina would have pretty much perfect neutral coverage.
