I'd argue, but PGL site says Incineroar is the one that's popular in Refresh so I'm not entirely sure honestly.

Unpopular mons that I like? I unironically like Crabominable. I'm not even trying to be a contrarian, I just like it. I like the idea of a fluffy crab. That and the teacher-pupil concept behind it and it having reached its "peak" in Mt. Lanakila.

It's mostly the fact that Omanyte supposedly isn't a very good Pokemon, but honestly, I have been playing Pokemon since 1998, and I've always beaten the game with my favorites. Sure I dip my hand into the breeding scene from time to time for hidden abilities and egg moves, but unless your friends are super competitive or you're playing with those smogon guys, you should play with your favorites, simple as that.

Not really anon, the only reason why the cat is in top of refresh is because it's used more in-game, since it's supposedly the best competitive alola starter. More baragfags breed or hack to make them go in battle. And when they get the chance they use refresh. And also all of the owlfags are too busy doing showdown to care about in-game stuff. That's why decidueye got a ou suggestion. And incineroar didn't. And if you look at the pokemon teams that were used in vgc. You'll notice that there is one incineroar in the second/fourth team. I can't seem to remember witch so don't quote me on that.
The point is decidueye is still popular. and Incineroar is used more in game.

Primarina is, for now, the best starter of alola.
Incineroar is good for VGC, bust it still needs its HA, because right now Arcanine is just better than him because of that.

But it makes a great HM slave, especially in the Sinnoh games. Tropius + Gyarados covers everything. The real shame is that it (and Tangela for some reason) could only be obtained through Pal Park in Diamond and Pearl. Every other Pokémon that could only be obtained through Pal Park back then were starters, legendaries, and mythical, so it seems silly that Tangela and Tropius would be included, ESPECIALLY since Tangela evolves into Tangrowth which was introduced that generation. At least there's still Kabutops and Aerodactyl to cover all HMs.

Luchalittlen is not liked for many reasons:
