Then why is there only 1 non-EX in all combined teams of the top 5 players for the month? And it's a fucking Shuppet. I don't care about what you're doing at rank 2000 or w/e, there's a clear advantage to just filling your roster with EXs.

I know there an advantage to it but theres nothing wrong with that
EX is not an inherently bad thing
as long as there is variety among the EXs then its not a big deal
obviously it takes longer for players to get enough of a pool to create a wide variety of teams if thats what they want, but thats part of the point of collectable games like this
you need something to strive for

Less than 1500 you're literally playing bots. 2100+ isn't too crazy (I'm 2100 with 2 EX, peaked at 2250), 2300+ is high tier.

That said I HATE playing people in the 1700-1800's at 2100 because the team comps aren't that different and the loss in ranking if you lose to someone that much lower is painful.

I got a Banette from a lucky box and it also has infiltrator. I know how much speed matters but it really seems like a light breeze can kill shuppet, where Banette actually stands a chance if someone tries to stop it.

Magmortar is amazing, but I'd say switch Raikou for Blastoise. It serves much the same purpose as a purple-slayer, and an even better one at that. It's practically a guaranteed kill against Lugia, can fuck up Latias well over half the time, and more. Provided, of course, you spin well and expand your gold attack.

I'm at 1900 rank and because I had the start dash bonuses and have religiously completed dailies and the different kinds of ways you can get boosters, I have 9 ex pokemon, 4 of which that I use, and plenty of useful rares.

I was also able to level my mains to level 4, which truly helps with reducing the Miss tile.

It's a win some lose some on this tier, but you are free to practice in room matches or the various single player modes.

Pay 2 win here just means you may have an easier and faster time getting to the top, but free users may take a bit longer to get there, but not impossible. You just need to work efficiently with what you have and plan everything out.

If you're wondering, dailies can give you 70 gems on one box sometimes, and even booster boxes, so just focus on dailies.

I love his RNG and 1% only miss. He's a guard dog which can be easily moved with my Pokémon Switch and Goal Block.

He does drag me down a bit sometimes depending on the situation so that's why I have plenty of fast moving units to compensate.

One of my daily tasks was to watch a Featured Duel, so I picked one where one player ran the Weavile strat and the other with various EX mons, curious to see how the matchup would be.

Are featured duels picked randomly? That RNG was so horrible that I'd understand if the Weavile player dropped the game immediately.

Get into a streak where even muh shipper gets kills, gabite switching is clutch, everyone focuses on genesect and Charizard even tho they are there for blocking and distraction. All quests give out common pokemon which give the same amount of exp

So just do one of the first quests because the AI is dumb there and you have a bigger chance of rolling the pokemon instead of coins

Ah, yes, another Squirtlebro. Gotta love a Pokemon with a just-under-50% chance to tank anything, AND 3 move. Great for standing on their entry points and being unmovable, great for rushing in to defend your goal, great for running up to prevent them Hurdle Jumping or just walking onto your entry point or w/e, just great in general.

Fusion. They add Chain Points.

There is only one problem. They only work on same rarity figures. And you can't upgrade them in any way.

tl;dr = the way the work is terrible

no, the point of the game is to get all the figures in an evolution line, but for that you need to spend gems in order to expand your storage, it's pretty standard mobage stuff
