(Alternatively, after its loses the battle in the climax it just charges you, and if you don't catch it there it'll run off, injured, and you'll have to find it later.)
>Option B>Leader is the region's professorI honestly thought X/Y was going to go that route, but all they had was a nominal Elite Four member who just sort of mentioned it offhand. I just think we need something like the old days, when the original games' rival was someone you knew closely and also your final challenge. Someone you have history with, instead of someone who just sort of shows up to go "Mwahahaha, I'm the reason you can't just have a nice time!"
