Yep. Especially considering that the official original version have been unplayable due to battery for a long time. I don't think Nintendo's even acknowledged how to replace cart battery.

Overall Gen 1 still has the most memorable tunes and arrangement, but Gen 2 is no slouch.

HGSS is the definitive version of Johto tbqh. GSC are great too considering it's my second favorite gen
