Drampa's really not terrible as is or anything, though your idea is a better version than what we have now.

Problem is there's blatant bullshit like the UBs and Tapu's forcing their cocks in the metagame all at once, forcing a ton of shit further down and down.

are you kidding me? that typing is useless offensively, hitting one type for SE damage in total, it lacks enough bulk for what its speed and ability dictate it should, and has no reliable recovery at all. Thing is not abysmally bad, but it's still bad.

Drampa has access to Roost, baby boo.

It's not the pinnacle of design, but its got extremely good SpAtk, decent movepool to back it up in Hurricane, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, Draco, access to Recovery with passable 78/85/91, and utility with Defog. It can also use Calm Mind which compliments its setup pretty nicely, and having Cloud Nine is a handy ability.

I mean yeah its not gonna be meta defining, but that setup really isnt that shitty by any means.
