I like SM because of the Pokemon designs, a ton of them are my absolute favorites and this is the only set of games that has them in it.

an example is that at a point in the game if you're female lillie says she wants to become as strong as you

No, they are not the best but not the worst. They are something between mid-up for sure, but objectively they aren't great as other games like BW2 and Platinum

Btw, they are my personal favorite game with Platinum

Congratulations, now there's no room for those starters to be individual members of a species because ALL Incineroar have to be Heel Fighters with Ash's Charizard's Personality, ALL Primarina have to use Singing as their primary weapon and require throat maintenance and ALL Decidueye have to be spergs.
