With Amourshipping, fans seem more rational, they're content with Serena's ending and the kiss, and know the anime could go on another 10 years and Serena won't appear anymore. So do you expect the ship to be kept alive in the fandom? Also think of how old everyone is, most Amourshippers are in their 20's, not young kids like during the OS days with pokeshippers.
