The Pokemon Company has a budget for a secondary animated series to commemorate all the games released thus far, however it can only run for up to 24 episodes.

Some restrictions do apply
>You may not push headcanon such as familial relationships between certain characters or how certain Pokemon behave that the company hasn't explicitly expressed themselves (i.e. Hypno does lead children astray but it doesn't tell what it does to them)
>Certain vices are frowned upon. Visual fanservice is fine, however exploitative sexual behavior is discouraged. Tobacco, alcohol and firearm use are also discouraged.
>Pokemon do not talk unless the setting has no humans (Mystery Dungeon is one example, but any setting where only Pokemon are onscreen is fine too). However, Rotomdex can translate Pokemon speech and Pokemon who can use telepathy are acceptable.
>Violence can only be as intense as Origins or what the games imply. Anything further than that is a penalty.
>Anime only characters may not be used unless your spin-off is related to the anime canon.

Freedoms
>No Pokemon related series is off the table, however cross-canon is discouraged for all but Ranger + Mainline.
>You may disregard the timeline as you see fit if mainline characters or settings are used
>Old game trainers are allowed to use or explore newer Pokemon as long as it suits their style (i.e. you can give Skyla a Talonflame, but you can't let Misty use Nihilego)
>Implied Pokemon gender is fine, even for Legendaries or Ultra Beasts. Outright stating gendered pronouns to refer to them isn't. Exceptions being if a Pokemon has a family.

For every rule you break, your episode count is cut in half. You can't go below 6. If you break no rules, you're allowed 2 extra episodes.

What kind of series do you make?
