>>32886317Oh, shit, forgot the "why" part.
>ChikoritaIt's really cute and unpopular, so I'm really drawn to it. I've got some nostalgia for it since it was my first starter and I still remember looking at the starters from a friend's game and thinking, "Okay, I'm DEFINITELY going to pick Chikorita!" weeks before I got the game.
>TreeckoAll three stages have really sleek and impressive designs. Particularly Sceptile, because I just love how they managed to make that tail so complex and yet not make it overdesigned. Plus, I used its Mega in the Battle of Hoenn competition and got good results with it.
>CharmanderI love reptiles. If there was a sixth slot, Totodile would go there. I like the transition between Charmander and Charizard, like how Charmeleon gets head and back spikes.
I also like the flaming tail concept.
I want to fug Charizard.>BulbasaurIt has one of the smoothest transitions from first stage to final stage of all starters. I love little details like the pupils going from white to black to make it more intimidating in Ivysaur, and Ivysaur itself has a lot of color to it.
>OshawottI don't like Dewott all that much, but Oshawott is adorable and Samurott has a badass and comfy design. They all carry the samurai motif really well, with Oshawott playing around with a dumb seashell like a kid, and Samurott having those leg swords. I still remember being amazed by that in Pokedex 3D.
>ChimcharI don't like monkeys, I don't like Fire types, I don't like Fighting types, I don't like Sinnoh, I don't like its final stage, I don't Chimchar's dorky animations and annoying smile...
>PopplioIf I was a waifufag, I'm sure I'd like it, but I wanted it to be not so plainly feminine. I don't see how anyone can like Brionne. It's a mishmash of shapes with an awkward teenage girl face.
Running out of space, so I'll just say the last three just aren't up my alley.
