>>33142699I actually think Mienfoo could totally be a "mascot" of the franchise like Pikachu or Eevee or the starters, because its design alone screams "fighting" (a central aspect of the games) while also being a cute little animal rather than a humanoid like other fighting types.
It's super serious face is also pretty funny when put next to the other happier pokemon.
And I say this as someone who doesn't even have Mienfoo among his favorites.
