Lots - only reason I may not get it is because I also really like one of the other choices. It's always shit & needs to be carried pretty soon after evolving, even if Eviolite is available. The temptation to just let the damn thing evolve is always pretty heavy

in the past. it's last decent streak was OU - UU - UU from Gens 4 to 6, and is a 2x VGC Seniors champion. Not anymore right now

This guy is part of the original 151, is one of the easily identifiable fighting types, arguably still the best representative of his type, all while his peers have received new boosts one way or another while he gets squat or even nerfed competitively this gen. Heck, Machamp has become nothing but a laughing stock right now

Gliscor. Always thought bats and flying foxes were cool so using it was pretty much a given, after using it I realized that it also had a lot of scorpion elements. That didn't put me off though, even caught a Drapion on the same team. Warmed up to both of them and so eventually it became my favorite. I don't think so. Shame it hasn't got any yet, it probably never will now.

Definitely. It has a high attack stat with decent bulk and a brutal typing that is very hard to switch into. It is currently one of the biggest offensive threats in UU.

Of course. A GX card or an Alolan form would be nice.

Yep. 6IVs and was traded to me as a baby. It was my MVP in Sun.

Of course, I'm not a fucking normie. I've used it in Pokemon showdown, Battle spot, and some tournaments. It almost always performs well.

It's just so badass. Ground/ice is a mix between my favorite types, it's a fucking mammoth, and it crushes anything in battle. It's also super intimidating, I've loved this guy since gen 4.

In the anime, yes. It's really unfair that Brock's Marshtomp never evolved into Swampert. Sure he doesn't battle but the writers could've at least given it some attention in Hoenn.

Not really in OU, but it's good enough to have been banned from a lower tier in SM. Much better in VGC from what I gather.

I'm not sure if TPCi even remember it exists.

Not yet. It's only available pre-Champion in a handful of games, and it's still a pain to evolve in those games.

It's cute in a weird way (I like small mons with no real facial expressions for some reason) and it's got a unusual stat spread for a Pokémon of its type. Plus its movepool and abilities are quite colourful. And it's cute! I want to pet it.

Not really hoping it gets more treatment other than maybe some fancier moves, I don't want it to get some weird mega or something 2bh. I mean I wouldn't turn on down but I'm happy with where it's at.
I have on two in-game teams - a wonderlocke of X (where I decided it was my favorite shortly before it got ko'ed, rip) and curently on my Omega Ruby team.
In gen V PU before I ever considered it a fav of mine, I used it to decent success, though I don't remember how.
I like it because it's unique, has a gimmick that isn't actually that bad, has access to the superior Protean if I want to use it for competitive needs, it helped me along in that X nuzlocke, and it's eccentric to a degree that I'm happy with.

It does (especially at the time of its Gen's debut), but not a lot. It's just the usual figurines and school stationery. It does have an official plush doll, I think.

Yeah. I'm not too worried about it falling down to lower tiers.

A little bit, but it got shilled enough during the Gen it was in, especially in the anime. Its pre-evo gets shilled to Hell and back, though.

Twice, and it has been very helpful in terms of taking hits and having a great defensive typing.

Never, but I want to sometime. It can run both offensive and defensive sets pretty well, last time I checked.

It looks pretty and is surprisingly solid in battles. It is also my favorite for the fun times I had playing the Gen it debuted in, so I'm admittedly a little biased.

Its design made me retroactively enjoy newer Pokemon designs (I was a pretty die-hard Genwunner) and introduced me to other Faves like Golurk, Spinda and Galvantula. I felt like it was the perfect blend of Gamefreak's 3 design sensibilities: Cool Designs, Cute Designs and Creative Designs. Also, it made me like frogs, which i previously disliked.

Yup. Transfer a perfect Larvesta to each new gen. Feels like I'm carrying on the family.

Why do you like it?
Unique typing, beautiful design, reminds me of my favorite kaiju Mothra, strong as FUCK, made a great end opponent for B/W and Bugs in general are my favorite :)

It's still in Ubers since last gen.

Yes, it's pretty fun to use although the moveset I use is pretty repetitive at times. Makes it easy to predict but it's still pretty fun to use.

It's ridiculously adorable, especially in amie/refresh. Swords are pretty cool, too.

I've desperately tried to make it work in doubles and while it was doable in Gen 6 I've had zero success in Gen 7 thanks to Wide Guard and Thunder Wave not being as needed/good

A bit, but much, but I have a single plush of it from Japan.

It was dogshit until it's mega but I tried to use it before then.

Just a little, it has a really cool design and is really strong, but GF just pushes the same few Pokemon over and over, it sucks.

I did, in Ruby and ORAS,I transfered it to an HGSS run too.

To be honest, I have no fucking clue. I just thought that the Pokémon's design looked cool from it's reveal, it's cute, it's anime persona was hilarious and I just really like it.
