Why do lonely autists always complain about trade evolutions? Co-operation is literally the way Pokemon is supposed to be played, it's why there are trade evolutions and why there are version exclusives.

I never played passed gen 3 and never had a trade evolved pokemon before.
Back when I had a Game Boy Advanced, no one I knew had a trade cable except for the rich kid but he didn't bother with us because he had Two Game Boy Advances and got all the trade evolved pokemon he needed by himself.
Machoke is my favorite pokemon though, I always had him on my team and his design is better than Machamp. Maybe that's just my own way of coping that I'll never get a trade evolved pokemon.

have you never had friends as a kid? they'd do things like that even though you were trading in real life
you can't do anything but cry after that happen while your pokefriends split into separate cliques and the guy that scammed your pokemon became the cool kid among nerds

In-game mechanics. Trading bathes a Pokemon in a unique energy. Some Pokemon evolve in response to this energy. Other Pokemon require to hold on to a specific item while being bathed to the energy, which fuses the item onto the Pokemon as they evolve.

No one saying saying cooperation is bad for pokemon, trade evolution was always a bad mechanic that they never bothered updating, next gen they should re-introduce the points you get from doing online shit in XY so you can spend them on a item/stone whatever that let's you evolve pokemon like Graveler etc., it'd be much better option than having to trade back and forth, expecially since i'm above 20 and i don't go to the park asking 12 year olds to evolve my Pokemon for me
