>>33703027Not to mention that I didn't have a fucking shiny Ditto because I don't have another 3DS with the Kanto VC games on it, so breeding would have been even more awful than it is (you have to breed a shiny female before moving onto the next link in the breeding chain if you aren't using a shiny Ditto). I didn't even bother with Gen 1, actually, so good ACE is a thing.
But oddly enough, even though I love ACE, I think I still might SR for Ho-Oh (on my commute or when I'm doing other things, of course), as ridiculous as that may seem. I put in genuine work for three shinies in GS already (two from breeding, one from SRing), but ACE does definitely cheapen the experience a bit, so I want to give at least one more shot at hunting seriously just for the quick shot of dopamine. I'll probably give it a week or so before I cave and just ACE it.
