If only 6, then GF dropped the ball very hard. The trailer at E3 had Mimikyu, Togedemaru and Lycanroc and later we had Kommo-o, then Solgaleo and Lunala, it might be a few more but making a big deal of the new Z-Charm for just 6 new Z-moves is kinda of a letdown.

For that to happen the opponent's pokemon would have to be slower than Mimikyu and not particularly bulky, Mimikyu's attack is simply bad, even at +2 it's not particularly threatening.

You know, with the original having slots for the 18 type crystals, maybe this one is meant for the unique crystals?

The top six slots are for the USM special crystals, while the remaining 11 normal slots could be for the remaining Pokemon-exclusive crystals:

The top part of the crystals is semi-transparent. That crystal is indigo (you can see it exactly in the same slot during the whole video), it only appears lighter during that scene because the white stripe on the kid's t-shirt is behind it.

It's the lighting. They filmed all the parts of this commercial at different times/places, so it's inconsistent. Considering they use the same six crystals in the add AND we never see both the one you claim is new and Lunala's at the same time, it's definitely just a trick of the light.
