Pretty much. Granted, Incineroar's problem is also it's overly anthropomorphic design, and Primarina's is the gender ratio.

Either way in terms of shillmon starters it's Charizard > Greninja > Blaziken > the rest. Charizard itself is pretty much part of the 'power shill trio' with Pikachu and Lucario.

Decidueye's stats aren't an aesthetic thing though. Generally speaking fewer people have issue with it's design as compared to the others, who are primarily hated for them, even if it's wings do look like shit.

Decidueye's stats are a far more common complaint than the other things you mentioned. It was pretty much labelled as a disappointment.

I think you are completely wrong. As for Charizard, stats didn't mean as much in the past, and people really hoped Decidueye was going to be as good as Greninja and got something mediocre at best for no reason. Also, his stats don't match his appearance at all.

No, not really the only two stats that get people off is it's speed and special attack. Which GF had no GF had no good reason for giving such an underwhelming speed.

And the wings are awesome, it could be a little off in some 3D models, but when it's drawn or animated, it's quit cool, like for examples pic related.

Both were instantly popular and got their shilling very early, they tried repeating that with Incineroar and Decidueye, but they’re both moderately popular, and couldn’t keep up with Gren.

Greninja tho, it took some time. And I know Greninja was moderately popular. Because I was actually there for the beginning of gen 6.

Okay see this is why I decided to do a fact check, you can say all you want about incineroar, he is in fact moderately popular. And yes this before the litten focus arc.
But even after all that guess what. Decidueye was still more popular then him.
Why are people still under estimating Decidueye's popularity. I've seen actual big poles, not thoes stupid fan poles but big ones, just like Greninja back in the early days, Decidueye was always somewhere in the list and sometimes even number one.
The only time you could compare Decidueye with Incineroar is in a starterwars.
