Havnt decided yet. SM was my first terrible experience with a new pokemon game and they havent really shown any signs of fixing the issues i had. Im not sure if i want to skip or just return Sun and buy an ultra version.

Skipping these entirely. If you didn't like SM there's absolutely no chance of liking these.
Luckily I was able to play Moon before release and dodged a bullet before wasting money on those and spent it on other games instead

I bought Gold and Sapphire on release. Quit playing pokemon until around XY hype season where I played W2, W, Platinum, Firered, and SS in that order. Then I got the 3DS games as they released.

It's just under £30 for 2 seats at a cinema. If you're gonna add popcorn and a drink you're looking at £40+

It's £50 a ticket for a day at an amusement park.

You can eat out fairly cheaply for about £45 if you're doing all 3 courses and a drink.

You can literally sink hundreds of hours into any Pokemon game. It's practically a bargain.

I don't pirate, don't really know how nor am I inclined to find out. But, I won't be buying it either, I feel like Gamefreak don't try hard enough, given the resources at their disposal. So I will wait this out, though I don't really have high hopes for the Switch either. I really wish Gamefreak bucked up their ideas but I guess the games sell, so they have no incentive to try harder.

Unlike most here, I actually liked the sun and moon story and they way the game was handled for the most part. Felt like I was playing and anime. However, overall the games felt more like a demo for USUM which now has features and shit SM should have had, and that's some bullshit.

Yeah, because of the way they run the VGC, they run a Native 'mon only comp, then a "National 'Dex minus Legendaries" and then a National 'Dex + selected legendaries, with the last two requiring the 'Mons to be bred/ caught in the latest region. As long as they keep doing that, they're gonna keep putting legendaries into the expanded versions.
