Events are exactly the same, THE SAME as SM, with the Ultra Recon squad dragged and dropped into a few points. THe difference is that now Lusamine wants to use cosmog to open the wormhole not because she wants to release ultra beasts into the world, but because she wants to fight necrozma, who wnats to "steal all light" and save the world. It's so idiotic and out of character, because they still show how crazy she is, how much she hates lillie and how she freezes pokemon, etc, and then try to make her look like a hero with good intentions. It's the laziest GF has ever been

Also it seems Lusamine took the chill pill. She isn't trying to destroy Alola to get with Nihilego. She wants to find her husband and destroy Necrozma, who is the real threat to the region. Even Hau called her a good person, despite the URS stating that she acted selfishly.

They actually cut out the Lillie dialogue on Exeggutor Island.

In USUM, you go there with the veteran. You encounter three wild Alolan Exeggutor that are going crazy. Go to each one and you must fight a Pinsir that is tormenting the Exeggutor to calm them down. Once all three are calm, you can ride its neck to get the flute.

He beat the dragon trial. Nebby became Lunala, but Necrozma appeared and absorbed it. You have to use URS' Solgaleo to chase after Necrozma.

The guy accidentally went into a different wormhole and discovered you can battle and catch Level 60 wild Pokemon such as Grumpig, Barbaracle, and Medicham. He's trying to catch some of these mons now.

The movements and camera in the ending cutscene have been altered, but it's the same general celebration for you becoming Champion. Everybody attended the festival. A lot of the stuff from SM has been cut out.

And now we get some Team Skull grunts in their hideout talking to each other. Our Boi and Our Gal are back. Skull is disbanded and becomes Punk Girls/Guys. Proof that they are one and the same.

Dexio and Sina are in an Aether House with the Zygarde machine from SM. Zygarde is slithering around in another dimension.

Colress is talking to the URS in Aether Paradise. Faba is plotting something, which Colress takes notice to.

Now people at festival are posing. Instead of Nanu, Mina is posing in the background.

Gladion is going to the Kanto region. Wicke and Aether grunts greet him off. Gladion leaves on a ship, but he is shocked to see Lusamine see him off as well.

You, Hau, Acerola, Hala, and many others are going to the Ruins of Life to check up on the statue. Everybody leaves but Tapu Koko is okay. No battle.

Everybody is on the bridge leaving to Mahalo Trail. Lillie turns around and thanks Tapu Koko and presumably Nebby, and runs off with the rest of the group.

The festival concludes with the protagonist being congratulated by other characters.

Cutscene was around 8 minutes long. Oh shit, more credits. Still a significant improvement over SM's ending, and no forced Tapu Koko fight either.

Rainbow Rocket disabled your ability to use your own Pokemon inside Festival Plaza, so you have to use rental Pokemon via Battle Agency. You use the rental Pokemon to fight the Rainbow Rocket grunts.

Once you beat the grunt, he tries to order the other grunts to get you. Sophocles regains full admin access to Festival Plaza and boosts RR out. All FP functions return to normal, but he decides to keep the castle theme because he likes it so much. Sophocles gives you an Eject Button as thanks for helping him. You both return to your house. Sophocles leaves.

Your mom shows you that Meowth learned how to turn on the tv while you were gone. You watch a news program featuring Lusamine and Aether Foundation addressing the black cloud situation on Poni Island. They assure the people that they will do whatever it takes to restore things to normal. However, an Ultra Wormhole opens up behind the mansion as Lusamine is talking.

A RR grunt and Giovanni himself appear at Aether Paradise, noting that they could have use for Aether's wormhole technology to go into different worlds. The interview is over. Episode RR starts.

After you beat Faba, he reveals that Giovanni has already summoned bosses from other teams into this world. However, the bosses aren't obedient towards Giovanni. They just wish to do research on Aether's technology for their own agendas.

You enter the mansion. Lillie is appalled that RR changed even Lusamine's room. A mirror blocks access to Lusamine's executive room, so you have to find another way in.

As you leave Lusamine's room, you and Lillie are attacked by two grunts. In the nick of time, Our Boi shows up to stop the grunts. The grunts laugh since Our Boi was the leader of the disbanded Team Skull. Our Boi can't do anything since he lost his organization. But Our Boi smiles, admitting that the grunts are correct. He is his own boi now, but Our Boi still wants to fight against RR for hurting Lusamine.

Our Boi teams up with you to take on the two grunts.

After clearing a few rooms and a tedious memory puzzle, two warp panels open up. You fight a few Rocket Grunts that block the door to a room. After beating them, you encounter Maxie in his room.

Maxie thought it was Faba trying to pester him again. He reveals that he succeeded in controlling Groudon in his world, but he nearly died when Groudon tore open the earth beside him. Maxie was saved and transported to this world.

Only one grunt battles you. Once you beat that grunt, everybody else retreats. There are 2 warp panels in the room. Going to the southernmost one, it turns out that RR grunts are blocking your path. You need to use the various warp panels in the room to cross the other side. You go to a different room and fight yet another grunt.

You warp your way to another room, this one occupied by Archie.

Archie succeeded just like Maxie but he almost died and was forced into this world too. Archie wishes to go back to his original world, but then reconsiders that he might want to flood this world also.

After beating both Archie and Maxie, and pressing both switches, you unlock the doors to the upper floors of the mansion. As we head there, we see Our Boi fending off some RR grunts. We go through the infamous Team Rocket Hideout sliding panel puzzle before stumbling across yet another door blocked by grunts. We fight the grunts yet again... The boss residing in this area is none other than the anti-spirit sociopath Cyrus himself.

Cyrus asks us whether this is a new world or not, but we don't know. He then said he created his perfect world without spirit, but he was engulfed by a shadowy Pokemon. He was saved and transported to this world.

Cyrus notes that the protagonist and even the Rotom Dex have spirit. He can't stop now. He has to eliminate the spirit in this world, too, and fights us.

Cyrus wonders why he lost to us, but Rotom appears and says it is because we are kind to our Pokemon. Cyrus admits defeat and said that he shall return to his own world without spirit, and not tamper with our own. He gives us the Galactic Key that will activate the door to Lusamine's room... Or so it seems, but we need to get the other keys first.

We stumble across the Meowth statue alarm puzzle from the Mahogany hideout. We need to get to the warp panel without triggering the alarm. There are quite a few of the puzzles.Then we end up in yet another room blocked off by grunts.

Our next major foe is DEN...I mean, Lysandre. Yeah, it's the shaggy-haired misanthrope Lysandre. We're skipping past Denni... Er, Ghetsis for now. Rinse and repeat: He succeeded, was swallowed up by the power he manipulated, and ended up in this world. Yadda yadda... Wishes to execute his plan in this world... We even have the same ol' red switch, blue switch trick from XY. The streamer pushes the red button, which will destroy this world. Lysandre said we have to press the blue button to stop the destruction, but he won't let us through without a fight.

We defeat Ghetsis, but he refuses to accept his loss like a man and becomes enraged. Lillie demands Ghetsis to step away from the elevator so they can get through. Ghetsis pushes her to the ground and threatens Lillie's life unless we discard our Pokemon. Ghetsis notices our Pokemon are seething with rage in their Poke Balls, but he still plans to carry out his threat.

Colress appears right before Ghetsis, noting that his former boss is still acting the same as ever. Ghetsis is surprised Colress is here. Colress recalls his prior encounter with Lillie at Aether Labs. Colress notes that he came to assist us because of Wicke. Colress also states Ghetsis is not the same one that he knows. Ghetsis notes that Colress is indeed from our world, but he should still not interfere with Ghetsis' plans. Colress notes that it is because he dislikes Ghetsis that he is here, activates a switch on his metal coat, and sends Ghetsis back to his original world.

Colress notes that he is unable to repair Aether Paradise to the way it was until we get rid of Giovanni, the man brimming with malice. Colress wishes to resolve this problem, so he entrusts taking down Giovanni to us.

We head to Lusamine's private room, which Giovanni transformed into his own. Giovanni notes our presence, saying that he permitted the other bosses to do as they wished, but they all lost. Giovanni introduces himself as the Leader of RR.

Lusamine is on the ground. Lillie tries to go towards her, but Giovanni said that Lusamine will be unconscious for a while. Giovanni infused Nihilego's neurotoxins into Lusamine, which theoretically should make her an obedient slave.

Giovanni finally discloses his endgame: to take over all worlds by forming an army of Ultra Beasts! But to gain access to the Beasts, he needs Aether's technology and research materials. That's why he is here. Giovanni states that we are strong and that we should channel said strength as a RR member.

On the other hand, how do you think Giovanni's plan to control the multiverse with Ultra Beasts will work? After beating Giovanni, he surrenders control of Aether Paradise back over to us, but he warns us that his organization will come back. They never fail!

Then there are massive tremors in the building. Giovanni hopes that he and the protagonist can meet in battle once more, before he disappears and his castle is terraformed into Lusamine's mansion. Colress and Our Boi appear from the lower floor. Colress' machine worked, which was only possible since we beat Giovanni. Colress notes that Giovanni's defeat has sent everybody else back to their original worlds as well. With a new research project in mind, Colress leaves our sight and bids us farewell.

Lusamine finally comes to, which makes Lillie and Our Boi really happy. Lusamine expresses her gratitude to us for stopping RR. Faba, who hid behind an ice statue like a pussy, pretends to show concern for Lusamine's wellbeing. Lusamine is still reeling under the effects of Nihilego's neurotoxins, so Faba uses this as an attempt to win her over. Lillie confronts Faba over his lies, which leads Faba into ultimately confessing the truth. Faba runs off and "apologizes."

Outside the mansion, Lillie thanks us for helping Lusamine, before noting that it was nice that she got to experience another adventure with us. She hopes that we will be around when she attempts the Island Challenge, too. Lillie bids us farewell.

Overlooking our conversation with Lillie, Giovanni notes that we had true talent as trainers. Giovanni then ponders what other world should he try to control next... He vanishes as well, revealing to be a Giovanni from another world! Episode RR is done.

The faster you go the more likely you will be able to get into a rarer hole. If you aren't fast enough by the time you reach a hole, you will be forced inside.

There are four types of rarities. You get better Pokemon the rarer a hole is. The rarest holes lead you to a place with Legendary Pokemon in them.
