Archie, Maxie, Cyrus, and (maybe) Lysandre confirmed as retards who are doomed to lose even when they win.
Also, RR could've been longer and/or added a feature where you could rematch each villain in their own worlds

The RR storyline makes it pretty clear just how many leaps and bounds Cryus and Ghetsis are better villains than the others. Their personality and dialogue is 10 times more interesting/distinct than everyone else's. Lysandre adds nothing new and just has re-used dialogue, Maxie and Archie are pretty generic, and Giovanni is only there so GameFreak could pander to genwunners and sell copies.

They're all about the same height. Hell, you can't see the grid at all at the lowest point of Lysandre's skull, so he should be swapped with Giovanni on this chart.
Actually, using 6'6" as a starting point, you could probably get solid heights for all the villains like this.

Only problem with trying to pinpoint heights with these models is presuming Archie is still supposed to be 5'9'', then he should be a lot shorter in comparison to Ghetsis.
I've seen people say it might be because of limitations that they couldn't make Ghetsis taller. IF that's the case, then here are some approximate heights: Gio & Lys = 6 to 6'2''; Cyrus = ~5'5''; Maxie = ~5'6''

Ghetsis is 2 meters tall. Lysandre seems to be close to his height. I guess Giovanni is like 1.80 more or less seeing that those 3 are at max capacity in the model's height.

I thought Cyrus's plan were a somewhat clever twist on the cliche "becoming a god" plan. He wanted to create a new universe without emotion because he thought that would get rid of strife/conflict. Big part of the reason he hates emotion is because of how he was treated as kid. Not revolutionary but pretty complex for a Pokemon character.

Not to mention that at least in Platinum he was really close to succeed if not for Giratina's intervention which is kind of implied to have happened with the Cyrus of the RR episode too. Cyrus needed a third party to stop him, that's some nasty powerlevels on villainy.
