Something about Johto is so inherently comfy. I think it's the color palette in GSC. HG/SS did a great job at recapturing that feeling, too.

Both Hoenn and Sinnoh have a good ammount of comfy places but I agree, Sinnoh wins with the aesthetics too, lovely places to hatch eggs at, sometimes I just love to revisit some comfy locations that require extra effort but reward you.

I'm so mad that there was never an anime episode in the Village Bridge.

Nor it was featured in PokeSpe. There's still a slim chance because the BW2 technically isn't finished yet, but I'm sure they won't manage to show it because they must rush the ending.

I really don't understand where this whole "X and Y have no content" meme came from. Sure they were a step down from BW2, but not so much that I could ever claim they had nothing good to do. XY definitely has more content than pretty much any other "first" version of a generation. It's hard to judge it against SM though, because those games are mostly cutscenes anyway.

I've always found the comfiest areas to be at the beginning of the game, when you're just starting out and your team is still young and unexperienced. As you progress, the vibe feels a little more tense and epic. But returning to Unova 2 years after the first games, you start off in some very comfy towns and Routes until you're back in Castelia. Comfiest place from any game for me is definitely Southwest Unova. It even has a cave reminiscent of the one in Lake Verity to add to the comfiness.

Oh, if you hatch an Egg in Floarama meadow, and the Pokémon can be female, then it will guarantee a female hatches.

Amazing for getting female starters prior to them changing how egg moves were passed on.
