i play pokemon gold at least one year and this year twice because of the VC release. i usually preoccupy myself with a certain challenge of some kind. either i play through each of the generations speedrunning or some shit, but this time i'm planning on going living dex gen 3.
i've got fire red as my base cart for filling the dex, and i'm gonna replay through colosseum and """GALE OF DARKNESS""" to get the johto pokemon. i got jap colosseum and the celebi bonus disc to get celebi; i got the jirachi bonus disc for jirachi and I got an italian emerald to exploit glitzer popping (mostly for mew, but maybe for deoxys). i got italian emearld because i heard nintendo of italy still has the aurora ticket event for emerald but i'm not sure if it's still going on, and if it is, i don't know if they take international orders. can anybody confirm this? i tried sending an email and i don't think it went through. but yeah i'm still going through jap colosseum right now and it's actually hard to beat the final boss with the given pokemon. that's where i'm up to right now.
