I always wanted to try Misdreavus/Snover/Deino/Bagon but they are lategame pokemon (or postgame pokemon).
Team balancing has been always shit since many good picks are either lategame or postgame, forcing you to either play with the early/midgame pokemon or grind a lot for them

A ton of Water types.

There's so many of them, and I tend to like the Water starters, that it's impossible to get to try all of them out.

caught one on a whim in UM and the thing was an early game powerhouse, so I added it to the team. And, upon learning the bullshit they pulled by not having the Dusk Stone until post game, had to trade it over to Moon to evolve it.

I really don't understand Pokemon's gameplay design logic sometimes, but I digress.

Before starting Ultra Sun my plan was to use Houndoom. I didn't really get the chance as Zoroark turned out to be all but irreplaceable on my team. I still really wanna try out Houndoom.

I can't bring myself to use Pokemon with only weather related abilities in a regular playthrough because it feels like a waste, I'll need to inject a full weather team with an auto-setter at some point so I can get around to them.

Teddiursa is definitely at the top of the list. Murkrow always shows up too late in the game for me (if at all) while I somehow always end up playing the versions that don't have Houndour.
I'd like to use Duskull in a ghost run of Sun but they aren't in it.
