Mid Ranking Nintendo official here. Usually I don’t get info about new games, Nintendo wants us to promote the new Switch games as much as possible, and in anyway possible. So I’ll promote pokemon to you guys, because I browse here a lot. what better way to promote the game than through leaks?
I have a few things, keep in mind I’m just trying to tease here and I’m not gonna give away everything
>New Region- NO NEW POKEMON
Note that^. That’s what you can use to pretty much verify this.
Other things:
>New region with a collection of gen 3-7 pokemon
>Kanto is unlocked in post game, followed by Johto.
>no real evil team or ledgendary story, just various side quests.
>main region has 12 gyms now. Elite 4 is the same. Champion is rival again.
>a lot of the main region is a throwback to red and blue, in terms of plot I guess
>game is more about completing the dex and being a champion
>dex is actually completeable now, only a few pokemon are unobtainable (the usual, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, etc.) and events are planned to get these pokemon distributed
>working names are Pokemon 0 and Pokemon 1, may change
