It should have been changed to Water/Fairy in Gen VI.

They should have probably made Altaria base form Dragon/Fairy too. You could switch it in far more safely prior to mega evolving.

Yeah it gets both dances but fairy cancer and getting outsped by other dragons means your going to get bodied if you try to set up.

Aura Sphere. I think STAB, HP Ice, Aura Sphere, and Nasty Plot would help it in the smogon tiers at least. It's in a perfectly fine spot in VGC and has a nice niche atm, so it's not lacking there.

These two too much. Fairy/dragon base altaria would have made it stick out from the other better flying/dragon pokemon. And milotic part fairy would make sense since Primarina is also a water pokemon based on mermaids/sirens and it is fairy

Its funny that people keep saying Focus Blast users would need Aura Sphere as alternative coverage, when Focus Blast would still be the superior option
