The line has a theme of losing wool due to storing too much electricity, it's actually pretty consistent with that theme. Besides, Ampharos is cute in its own way, just like the rest of the line before it. I understand people may have wanted it to stay more sheeplike, but i don't have a problem with how the line turned out at all.
