Where the fuck are you getting quasar? What the fuck does a quasar have to do with the Pokemon? It's named after Raqiya, from the same mythology as Behemoth and Leviathan, i.e. Groudon and Kyogre. The "qu" is pronounced "ku," the Jap word for sky.

Mimikyu is derived from the Japanese name, Mimikkyu. Japanese is a phonetic language so it is pronounced the way it spells.

In Japan, i has a -ee sound, so Mi is mee. U has a oo sound, so it's kyoo. Mee-mee-kyoo, which is then spelled as Mimikkyu.

The dub kept that phonetic pronunciation for Mimikyu. It's not "mimic-you."
