all pokemon are now good if you give them a z crystal. see gamefreak realized that they messed up by only giving some pokemon mega evolutions. so they made z stones so that all pokemon now can be good and they rebalanced the game and made all pokemon potentially competitive.

Honestly what we need is just a decent flying type with speed like talonflame and attack like staraptor knowing brave bird. Because OU lacks flying types and only talonflame and staraptor was present in their time. Zapdos doesn't count since it doesn't even get air slash or hurricane.

There are mons like Tauros that were good at the very start but then immediately declined. Then there are mons like Gengar, which remained solid until recently when the power creep became too much. Then there's Slowbro, which has remained consistantly useful throughout the gens (until now, apparently).

Landorus isn't really equal to the other genies so I don't understand why you're suggesting that they'd have to lose Volt Absorb and Regenerate.

I believe it's because their are just better water types in UU like swampert and Empoleon. Even in UU you still have heracross, scizor, manetric, toxic stall, Amoonguss, Hydregion, beedrill, and serperior. With those, Slowbro just didn't have a chance. This game has just become more complicated with checks.

Slobro was very metagame dependent in the past, mostly going to OU when Keldeo peaked in usage. Now you have Toxapex which is better at its defensive sets, right down to the same ability. Tapu Fini also has a lot of the same resists. The fighting types it used to beat are all nerfed heavily by fairies and Lando. The CM set is done better by Suicune in UU. You'll only see it again if Mega-Medicham rises in usage, but even then Mew will probably be used more.

Because it's like the legendary dogs. If one has it's HA ability change all three of them has to have their abilities changed as well since their a trio of legendary pokemon.

Thundurus really shat on BW OU. He deserved the nerf. Meanwhile Tornadus and Landorus werent really used till their T forms came out.

The things that hurt the prankster genies was there was always better options then them. Lando has no better options for most things.

intimidate should be nerfed to only work against mons that are smaller than your pokemon,
But it could be nerfed even more, they could do something similar to what they did with prankster and make fighting types immune to it.
