If GameFreak decided to make Pokemon look like creatures instead of cartoons (This won't happen but hypothetically) like that new Monster Hunter game, what Pokemon would you like to see done in a realistic style? What would be the easiest/hardest to do?

easiest would be Pokemon that are already very close to their real-life counterparts. Like, stick a horn on a koi and you've got yourself a Goldeen.

The hardest ones would be ambiguous and extraordinary shit

a better option is to keep it cartoony but without toriyama influences, look at Cosmopoliturtle's Pokemon Redesigns on deviantart, they look fantastical yet cartoony and they can fit a Monster Hunter-like game.

Easiest- Solrock already looks like some kind statue. Same goes for Nosepass, it's practically out of place in the world of Pokemon designs.

Hardest- Volbeat and Illumise look like 1930's cartoon insect people.
