>Rival gets stronger in real time; if you don't play, the rival will likely be training or going for gym badges
>You can end up fighting the rival as the champion, either with you as the champion (such as SM), or with the rival being champion before you (RBGY).
>Enemy trainers scale with you, excluding the rival. You can out-level your rival, but you will NEVER power past opposing trainers as they match the highest level pokemon in your team, with a little variance (1-2 levels more or less).
>Stats rebalanced so that unless it's a legendary, any pokemon has viability to a degree in the main game.
>Legendary pokemon's level is ignored for this. Your level 100 Mewtwo will stomp the enemy's level 23 Caterpie.
>Stats are not changed in online, and remain the same as they are currently.
>Wild pokemon can randomly be found walking around, rather than in grass. Walk into them from behind to battle them with a guaranteed first hit.
>Shiny pokemon aren't just one recolor now; they can be multiple color differences, with the original shiny being rarer than other color differences. Darker tones, lighter shades, etc. Spinda spot randomization for EVERY pokemon's colors, excluding legendaries.
>Every pokemon on one cart, but they're random every day. You could go 500+ days without ever seeing a Weedle despite being in a place it can appear, for example.
>Every legendary pokemon has some sort of side quest related to it. You don't just walk into a cave for whatever reason and stumble on the strongest pokemon; you repel it (barely), chase it, and subdue it.
>Mythical pokemon can be found by complete chance, and scale to your current party's highest level.
>Mega Stones and Alolan forms are obtained via minigames, in-game trades, and so on. You can get em all.
>Story differences between both versions with both stories being equally good, encouraging both be bought and played to experience the full story.
Too big a dream, too lacking in detail, never happening.
