You then attempted to parody the post with something that was never once presented as an element that 'makes games more difficult', but in fact a way to describe the games as being more easy in an attempt to fit your narrative. Those are two completely different things.
The fact is, however, that adding more things to do will not instantly make a game harder to go through. More tense? Yes. More active? Yes. More difficult? No. For each new gameplay element you add to a whole, you reduce the weight of other elements as each thing now has a lower level of impact. Fail to dodge a move and get hit in real time - you've made a mistake, but it's no big deal and you can recover. Mess up with the wrong decision in a turn based game - you're now at a severe disadvantage with little room to repair your situation.
Neither style of gameplay is inherently more difficult than the other as they both require different weights to their actions and planning. Nobody should never approach one with the mindset of the other.
