They're overshadowed by Dialga/Palkia/Giratina and Arceus but who cares? I think they're far more interesting than what people think. I would love to see them become Psychic/Fairy tho

i guess maybe compared to some other gen 5 mons? and the simple designs of gen 1/2 but those are UNDERdesigned in some bad ways. but compared to like... the entirety of gen 4 its not overdesigned at all desu.

More like they're all single stage mons. Most single stage mons that aren't legendaries or UBs fade into obscurity more than other mons.

Cryogonal's spinning as it used Ice Beam was really cool in the Generations episode, too bad they forgot to add it's face.

Chandelure is by far one of the best Gen 5 pokemon out there. A fire type based on a old chandelier design is fucking genius, and having it a ghost type makes it have a unique typing for a evolution line, besides Blacephalon. (plus not to mention it absolutely fucking wrecks lucario fur fags)

my favorite is magneton, who doesnt count because genwunners eat up every gen 1 mon, but a lot of pokemon like chandelure and ice cream cone and garbage boy and keychain dude get it bad just because "duhh it's just a keychain???" when other pokemon are just "duhh it's just a dog???", and it takes more effort to turn a fucking ice cream cone into this living breathing character with personality and shit than it does to turn a dog into a cartoon dog with stripes on it or some shit
