A letter Y and a letter M with eyes? And really long mouse tails, to the point that the M is off-center to make room for the tail? And the Y has a... hat?
And what are those parentheses looking lines supposed to be?
Do the logos represent the legendaries? They don't look very legendary. Or the starters?
I find it hard to believe that Game Freak of all developers would change up their marketing strategy so much and go for such abstract logos. Just looking at them, you wouldn't think they had anything to do with Pokemon.
