Please no. If I'm gonna suffer let me at least get some cool mons like Scizor, Glaceon, Electivire, etc.
I hated how limited all that stuff was in HGSS. Iirc only Mamoswine and Tangrowth were available in the regional dex.

I'd just mad because if the leaked cap is real, it means the Kanto game while be an ORAS tier 3D copy of the FRLG map rather than a revisited take on the Kanto region with new Switch aesthetics

HGSS had others in the Regionaldex iirc they usually just didn't give you the items need for evolution until Kanto. The bigger fear is that they won't let Pokemon evolve if they weren't introduced in Gen 1 like in FRLG.

After Vermilion you have to go to Rock Tunnel, then Lavender, then by underground to Celadon

Honestly, if the submerging leaks are right, they could do a GLORIOUS game where you go through the northern part of Kanto and Johto for the main game and explore parts of the submerged parts as side missions- maybe where you collect badges from say the ruined gyms of 6 gym leaders to get some cool trophy or something to stick in your room.

Plus add more variety to the towns, routes, so on, amp up the exploration and really just go the other way they went.

But if not some rom hackers and fan game makers will just show up the actual GF crew in creativity, dialogue story, ingenuity etc
