There have been multiple people who have hinted at revisiting an old region, but it not being the same.
Piuk droped the biggest hint, about Pallet town being under water.
I think the main region for the game is Kanto, but this Kanto is under distress. It might just be a parallel world. The world Giovanni in USUM comes from.
The guy who mentioned Unova also confirmed everything Piuk said in his leak. That guy also mentioned project beluga. Also theres that airport and and american flag in the pic Piuk posted. That could have been a hint that Unova is a playable region, just like the second leaker stated.
When multiple people start hinting at similar things, I pay more attention. Of course it could just mean they are all just playing off what each other said.
