It's typing is so fucking cool but so fucking bad. It's a good thing that Tyrantrum is my favorite Pokemon so I've never had to use this thing in single player. Tyrantrum isn't amazing combat wise either but it's much better than this.

It's only a matter of time until it drops. Everything it does, something else does better. If Smogon tiers weren't defined by usage Arcanine would have dropped this gen for sure. It deserved its spot in UU up until BW, however.

Bad is only relative to what you allow there. OU has Mythicals and Legendaries and even a big box cover with enormous stat totals to work with in allocating points, so no doubt you'll sooner find use for those guys than Lurantis. I wouldn't be surprised if Joey did a 'Lurantis to the top' video, that it would actually succeed and do well, raising to like UU or RU (since UU is basically Gen 6 OU which is still tough).

The same can be said for midday and midnight form Lycanroc but 115 attack alone couldn't save them from PU thanks to Game Freak deciding that low HP and shit movepools was a good idea. Don't even get me started on midnight because what Game Freak did to it was a disgrace.
