There is no way any of you have an IQ above 70 if you honestly think that they won't take the easy way out.
Either that or you're completely ignorant of the state of the game industry as a whole.
Things like the graphic race - which they are partaking in, if slightly behind - mean they absolutely cannot keep working on two games at once.
And they either know that and are pulling a bait and switch or are even more incompetent than you'd think but will eventually come to realize it.
And it won't be the true main series that gets cut because "it didn't sell as well, meaning you guys didn't want it'.
