You'd think that a Pokemon would NOT be a shitmon if it was shilled to promote the upcoming games. Midday and midnight being shit in competitive may as well have been one of the biggest "fuck you" moments in recent history for Pokemon. Didn't help that lots of people expected Rockruff to be "the next Lucario" either.

Everyone should remember this when Gen 8 is announced and all the Pokemon are slowly being revealed because Game Freak may pull this shit again.

Yeah, for this reason Ash got Froakie in the first XY episode, because never was intended to be the overadvertised Pokémon of that gen. Neither was hated by a lot of people for changing their bubbles for that tongue.

Seriously, why the fuck would they make them so bad? They need stat buffs and actual fucking movepools. And get rid of the Rock typing COMPLETELY. It's nothing but a hindrance. I'd rather Rockruff and Midday be pure Normal and Midnight be Fighting.
