They put in Team Rocket in USUM because they thought that's what old fans wanted, except it was maybe 2 hours long and you could only play it once. They are completely out of touch with their fanbase and instead choose to pander to Genwunner normalfags who don't play the games because it's easy money.
After all the backlash LGPE got it's obvious they're trying to keep the dedicated fanbase from dropping the series, if they don't shape up and actually listen for Gen 8 then they'll likely be seeing hurt numbers for the first time.
