It’s illegal in most of the West, especially, but there’s nothing biologically odd about being attracted to girls who happen to be around 14-17, as the majority of them have already gone through puberty and are biological, physically, adults. Reason that many have to be so careful about who they interact with is because it’s often extremely difficult to tell the difference between ages are far apart as 14-22, especially for many young women, because physically they’re supposed to look about the same. It’s not pedophilia - it’s an unfortunate misalignment between biology and law. Personally, my solution would be to either lower the age of legal adulthood to 16 or raise it up to the early twenties. 18 is a really dumb choice really, because there’s virtually no mental or physical difference between an 18 year old and a 15 year old.
