Speaking of Rock, what about an early-game Rock Gym that's actually not a pushover?
>Like, a fella who is a bookworm rather than a miner or archaeologist like most Rock specialists. Here's a team I conjured up on the fly.
-Bonsly, Sturdy, Lv. 14 (Rock Tomb, Low Kick, Mimic, Flail)
-Nosepass, Sturdy, Lv. 13 (Rock Tomb, Shock Wave, Harden, Block)
-Roggenrolla, Weak Armor, Lv. 14 (Rock Tomb, Sand Attack, Headbutt, Flash Cannon)
-Onix, Sturdy, Lv. 14 (Rock Tomb, Rock Polish, Flash Cannon, Curse)
-Alolan Geodude, Galvanize, Lv. 15 (Rock Tomb, Tackle, Rock Polish, Earth Power)
-Aurorus, Refrigerate, Lv. 17 (Rock Tomb, Powder Snow, Rock Polish, Thunder Wave)
Although Aurorus is a powerful Pokemon early on, it's dispatched easily with Fighting types, a couple of which can be found before the Gym. And also, Flash Cannon and Earth Power seem like scary moves, but his Pokemon lack the Sp.Atk. to fully benefit, so it's just flashy and a suprise.
