>>363927321) They're kami. The only genie Pokemon is Hoopa. Tornadus is based on Fujin, Thundurus on Raijin, and Landorus on Inari. All 3 are Shinto gods (kami). Landorus' shrine is based on a Shinto shrine. Those 3 Pokemon all have Japanese oriented designs. If you think they're "genies" because their legs are not seen and they have a "tail," they don't. They are sitting on a cloud with a whispy tail-like end, and their legs are not visible from the sprites. Nobody thinks Lakitu is a fucking genie so why should we still have this shit here.
2) Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus all have subtle differences to tell them apart.
Tornadus - 2 light purple horns. Moustache has four jagged lines on each side (one up, one left/right, two down). Hair is stylized like a tornado-shape. Its purple appendage is a stylized wind baton.
Thundurus - 1 massive dark purple horn. Moustache has 3 jagged lines on each side (one up, one left/right, one down). Hair is stylized like a thunderbolt. Its purple appendage is a stylized lightning rod.
Landorus - 3 small red horns. Moustache has 2 jagged lines on each side (two down). Hair is stylized like a rock. Its brown appendage resembles stone with red ore coming out of it.
