Just search relevant tags and find stuff you like. Usually people who draw a lot of pokemon fanart follow other people who draw a lot of pokemon fanart so you can find loads of art once you find an artist you like.

Use phothoshop or sai if you like to do weeb art, it has a line stabilizer so it helps. Althought personally, I think its better to get used to photoshop since it has more options than sai.
I have only ever owned 2 drawing tablet brands: wacom and genius; genius sucks ass and wacom is overpriced but ultimately the better option.

Firealpaca works well for a free program. Clip Paint Studio if you're willing to pay or pirate. Tablet-wise, Wacom PTH660 or Huion 1060P (if budget) are good if you're planning on doing a lot of digital art.

Honestly, too many people get caught up with the tools to make art instead of actually making art. As long as your tools aren't actively working against you, you're golden.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Hoenn is the only region that really got that feeling of going on a grand adventure down to a T. After nearly every gym the environment changes drastically so you are always encountering something you've never seen before. Starting off with forests, you transition to dark caves and beaches, to fields, to mountains and a volcano, to an ash-filled wasteland to a dense tropical jungle, to the wide open ocean and even the reefs below. No other region in the series is this varied, and it makes Hoenn way more memorable than other regions where they're like 50% the same old grasslands.

You must be me, because this me too. It is quick to the point of episodic in the transitions, but that isn't necessarily a faux pas in a handheld game, and the wide ocean does give a great feeling progress and makes surfing feel much like a tool of exploration rather than another simpler barrier. Surfing to the edge of the world to get to victory road is almost a second layer of build-up. The League being a faux-temple in ORAS added to the exotic getaway feel even more, even if the chambers themselves will never make a lick of sense.

You're just not used to it.
I live in a coastal town and being on a lobster boat and swimming in the ocean is second nature to me.
Must be why I have a deep connection to the game despite it not being my first.
Considering how much life is in the ocean irl and how little we know about it, the pokemon world version doesn't bother me.
