Episode format tier list so far, feel free to tell me Im wrong or add/remove something.
GOD TIER
>Interesting side character with relatable easy to apply real-life job wants to find purpose in life with its side pokemon, reaching catarsis at the end of the ep (Pidgey flies to the moon, Crystal Onix, Joy of Water pokemon)
GREAT TIER
>Gym battles, league battles or ash fights an interesting though trainer (Skarmory episode, Duplica)
>Mistery episode about how pokemon interact with the world in mysterious ways (fossil eps, Digglet episode, Ninetales illusion, Ghost of maiden peak etc)
OK TIER
>Owned pokemon development chapter (Tsundere baylef, bonding with charizard, etc)
>Episodic chapters (Larvitar, Lake of Rage)
>Team-Rocket focused episodes (James thinks he is a moltres, meowth learns to talk)
MEH TIER
>Unlikeable side character (like a kid) bonds with a pokemon by blasting team rocket with a tackle, giving them a boost in confidence. (too many to count)
SHIT TIER
>Gimmicky pokemon just fucks around for 20 minutes while the rest of the cast just runs around in circles repeating its name to death, generally on a FOREST (too many to count)
