Both of the TCG spinoffs for the gameboy have an absolutely beautiful soundtrack. If you're only going to listen to a few tracks, I recommend

Even picking just 5 tracks from each game feels like an injustice, though. Even the weakest tracks from each game are great.

It's cool to shit on the Alola games, but they're pretty underrated soundtrack wise. Not every theme is brilliance, but some are more atmospheric than usual, and Poni Wilds is just amazing. I never get bored of this theme even though it plays on almost the whole of the last island.

Best song in the game, and it’s the only battle theme you could only hear once, if you count the default ranger net missions. My internet as a kid was too shit to download Manaphy, but somehow I doubt this song was in that mission either.

I agree. Personally I think Pokemon is at its most memorable when it's strange and mysterious. PMD especially was all about that.

Out of curiosity, what's your problem with Pokeli? The quality of the music is good and the mashups aren't bad. To be so explicit with hate there is usually a good reason for it.
On topic: All of my favorites get linked enough I'd consider they get at least enough appreciation.
Non-mainline, but I'd say all of Colosseum's OST is underappreciated (Except Mirror Meme). The OST nails the atmosphere of the game down perfectly.
