I like Jumpluff a lot. Just Whimsicott far exceeded it as cute cotton based fluffy Pokémon for me.
Now if it was more cat like it’d be my #1 favorite no doubt

desu i liked pokemon more as a modern urban fantasy without the parallel universes and hyper space shit
there was something majestic about going on a mountain trail and finding a literal bear
a bipedal one but a completely mundane bear that only knows basic martial arts
it fit better with the idea that the pokemon world was just a more fantastical version of our world
man ursarings probably one of my favorite pokemon for just the bluntness of it
its literally a bear
standing on two legs looking angry
its movepool consits of slashes, scary face, leering, snoring, thrashing
rest and licking
its straight up just a bear
you find on rural mountain trails
look at this dood
he doesnt even know whats going on
he looks so confused
desu gen 2 mastered the art of making a completely mundane thing cool

I agree with this completely. I would really like to see the next Pokémon game not be centered around god tier world ending Pokémon and dimension hopping Pokemon again. Also Ursaring is a blessed mon.

As for unpopular Pokémon, for me its Bruxish.

Honestly pic related surprised the hell out of me when I used it in a "bad Pokemon" run of Silver. It tanked hits well, had natural early Recover to heal them off and Surf/AncientPower isn't a bad STAB combo at all for in-game.

The MVP for sure of Colosseum/XD, the super fast Sleep Powder and EQ immunity was extremely clutch with all of the Shadow Pokemon to catch.
