The only issue I actually have with gen 4 is the speed, but that can be remedied with the right settings. Sinnoh was actually well balanced and difficult.

I honestly do not understand how anyone can find sinnoh's music good outside of pure nostalgia. The soundfront is absolute garbage, one top of the melodies just being bland. Yeah there are a couple stand out tracks but overall it's probably the worst soundtrack in the series, that or kanto

This. All the songs sound generic and flat as fuck. The entire OST is very one-note with a few exceptions like Cynthia's theme. I especially dislike almost all the overworld themes that are nothing but piano over and over again. And worsdt of all, the music always seems to combine and accentuate the sloooooow feeling that those games have.

Not sure why people dislike the region itself, it's comfy, spaceous and has a lot to offer.
That being said i get why people say it feels kinda slow with the whole swamp and snow shit.
The only thing i dislike about Sinnoh has to be the swamp, it's just an underwhelming and sad area. The rest is pure bliss IMO.

recently revisited platinum and i consider it to be one of the best pokemon games, and yes, i think the ost is awesome.

idk why but i really like the wild battle theme, despite it being somewhat bland

While i agree the soundfont is harsh i still really like slower more relaxing tracks. It's probably the only reason i'd want a remake given the existence of ORAS, just to hear my favourite tracks with updated sound.

Sinnoh ties with Johto for the most amount of memorable route songs. I can think of routes 209, 210 and 217 off the top of my head and a few more locations courtesy of based Ichinose, and that's coming off one of the worst soundfonts in the entire series, gen 5 instruments were much better in comparison but no songs in gen 5 really stood out to me besides BW route 10 and Ghetsis battle, like they straight up came from FF or something.
But the all time best soundtrack from a GF game actually goes to Drill Dozer
